The Mighty Power of Intention

Much has been written and stated about the power of intention. Scientists have researched it and philosophers have pondered it. Most everyone in the fields of religion, psychology, medicine, and metaphysics agree – whether they call it attitude, prayer, state-of-mind, or a directed intention – the power of intention works.

Yet the power of intention is not about effort. You might think of a friend right before they call, or make a casual statement about attending an event and then find yourself with two free tickets. Using the power of intention is nothing like driving a car, where you need to start it up, press on the gas, and then point it in various directions. The power of intention is more like pressing a single button in an elevator and merely expecting the doors to open at the perfect time on the exact floor that you were intending.

The power of intention works somewhat like a suggestion to the universe, but the universe responds to that suggestion as if it were an order. It is not up to you to figure out how the matrix of the universe works, but only to state your intention and then to let it go…out into the matrix. This vast system where like attracts like, thoughts create form, and concepts mirror conditions, can possibly be comprehended with a little primer in quantum physics. But we find that the universe is perfect, and the power of intention is real – and the proof is constant in life.
