Thoughts are Things
What were you thinking?
You are what you think you are. You get what you expect. You have what you think you have. Your experiences are the sum total of your thoughts. You are creating your future in every waking moment. Whatever you focus upon – brings you more of the same.
You think over 50,000 thoughts each day. Whether they are good, bad, or indifferent thoughts, they are responsible for creating all the elements and experiences in your life. The reason that you may not be aware of your creative nature is that 98% of your thoughts remain the same from day to day. We get stuck with our preconceived notions about life, relationships, money, self-image, health and life’s outcomes – and therefore we see no change unless some major event takes place that changes our perception of how the world works.
During the course of our lives, we have thousands of good and bad experiences. These experiences are a series of sensory recordings that are stored in the subconscious part of the brain we call the Creative Mind. We record experiences using our primary senses of sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell. The higher the intensity of emotions during any experience, the larger the imprint of the sensory recording. The frequency and intensity of these highly emotional events shapes our belief systems and determines our world view or "Truth Filter."
When you were a baby you may have had many blissful experiences when your mother rubbed your legs, kissed your forehead and told you that she loved you. Her smell, her voice, the look in her eyes, all made a sensory record within your Creative Mind. When you smell her perfume or hear her voice as an adult, these sensory recordings are recalled, and have a major effect upon your emotional state, feelings and beliefs about your mother and possibly women in general.
"Whatever we plant in our
subconscious mind and nourish
with repetition and emotion
will one day become a reality."
- Earl Nightingale
Falsely Imprinted Belief Systems
The cliché that "perception is reality" is a very true one. Perceptions are gained through sensory recordings. We perceive things through the antennae of our senses. Our senses collect the information and then integrate it to create our perception of an event. Everyone perceives each event differently, and then stores the recording into the subconscious Creative Mind for future reference. This is how we construct our Truth Filter and the primary reason that we have uniquely different experiences.
Falsely Imprinted Belief Systems, or FIBS, are the result of sensory recordings that were imprinted and stored during highly emotional events in your past. The difference between true reality and a falsely imprinted belief is that the sensory recording was skewed with a negative or false belief that became implanted upon your psyche. If an authority figure told you that you were "no good, fat, stupid, worthless, or lazy" during an emotionally charged event, this information was stored into your Creative Mind and integrated as a part of your Truth Filter.
"As long as you are unable to access the power
of the Now, every emotional pain that you experience
leaves behind a residue of pain that lives on in you."
- Eckhart Tolle
Replacement Imprint Directive
We use the Novo Sensory Workout System and a host of other Power Tools to identify and correct these FIBS with Replacement Imprint Directives (RIDs). Traditional self-improvement techniques suggest that we can replace old tapes and negative beliefs with the constant repetition of affirmations. While this method does work over a period of time for some people, it can be very difficult to convince the Creative Mind to adapt new belief systems that transform the Truth Filter. This is why many people fail to see lasting results after endless repetition of affirmations.
I AM Power offers a revolutionary technique that gets RID of the FIBS with the very same sensory recording process that created the original false belief. The Novo Sensory Workout brings the subject into a highly positive emotional state using the multi-sensory techniques of music, scent, touch, taste and visualization – in order to erase and replace the FIBS and thus scientifically alter the Creative Mind’s causative Truth Filter.
"One can overcome the forces of negative
emotions, like anger and hatred, by cultivating
their counterforces, like love and compassion."
- Dalai Lama
